I’m not one for reading books set around 1950’s USA, it seems. It’s well-written in a publicly acknowledged way, even if it was slightly difficult to get through.

She happened to be the guest speaker at assembly the day I went to the library to borrow some books. It’s too much like one of those Girls Night Out anthologies to suit my liking.
